The management of Supreme Court football club of Abuja says preparation is in top gear to kickstart the 2017 Nigerian Nationwide League season.
General manager of the team, Tolulope Oguntime stated this in Abuja while reveiwing before the press the activities of the club for the year.
Oguntime revealed that all errors that caused their relegation from the National league has been looked into.
He further stated that the ultimate target for the team is to gain promotion at the end of the season.
“For the past two and half month we’ve been training and re-training young crop of players that can really be able to withstand the test of time.”
“And from then, we will be coming down to players that we are going to use to prosecute the league.”
“Note that the National League is not our major objective. Our major aim is to take the Supreme Court fc to the premier league, but our first objective is to return back to the National League, and even increase the possibility of us playing in the National Federation Cup.”
He revealed further.
Supreme Court fc defeated a local opponent 2 – 1 in a firendly encounter in Abuja on Thursday.
The team will travel to Kaduna on Sunday for pre-season camping while they are also scheduled to play another friendly match with Kaduna United football club.
