Imam cautions Muslims against violence

The deputy Imam of Abuja National Mosque, Dr Mohammed Kabiru has called on Muslims to desist from any act of violence as it is against the tenets of the religion.

He made the call in an interview in Abuja on Friday 31st March 2017.

Dr Kabiru advised Muslims to settle disputes amicably rather than resort to violence.

“When there is misunderstanding between two parties, whether it’s between man and his wife, or between other members of the family, they should sit down and settle it. Let them live together in peace with understanding, and love each other.”
He stated.

The deputy Imam further appealed to the citizenry to continue to encourage peaceful co-existence irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliation.
