A brand new publication has been launched to celebrate the 60th birthday of Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola, and it’s aggressively being promoted across online media.
“We birth this publication today fittingly with a special issue on an Original, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, Gomina Ipinle Omoluabi.”
Temitope Lakisokun, publisher of the The Daily Original writes.
The Daily Original claims that Aregbeshola is “variously hailed as a radical, original thinker, passionate, Spartan, hater of injustice, tolerant, impartial and welfarist”, noting that “he started exhibiting those traits right from childhood”.
The publication only “celebrate milestones and landmarks”, so it carries neither a breaking news nor a groundbreaking investigation into Aregbesola’s tenure as governor of Osun state.
It, however, does reveal that Aregbesola’s wife, Sherifat Aregbesola fell for him at first sight.
The publisher claims her publication is being produced to “highest journalistic standards in all areas”, but when you claim that a man is “variously hailed as a radical, original thinker, passionate, Spartan, hater of injustice, tolerant, impartial and welfarist” without giving the names of those who hailed him as such, and the circumstance under which they hailed him as such, then you obviously don’t deserve being taken serious.
The Daily Original seems to have a fat budget, and they are already promoting their junk for public consumption.
